Ieva Reine, born in 1972, Riga, Latvia, started her Psychology studies in Riga, Latvia, and continued them in Umeå, Sweden. In 2009 Ieva acquired her PhD in Medical sciences, specialising in Public Health and Gender studies, and moved to Stockholm where she works as an analyst at the Headquarters of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
Ieva is also conducting scientific projects and teaches at Uppsala University. Ieva is a co-founder of a company providing language services. Among other, the Swedish Embassy in Riga has been her workplace for several years.
