Ingrīda Kariņa-Bērziņa is Partner and Head of the IP & IT practice group of pan-Baltic law firm COBALT. Ingrida is dual qualified as an attorney in the United States and Latvia, and she teaches law at the Riga Graduate School of Law and at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, she attended Latvian school in Wilmington and Philadelphia, is a 1987 graduate of Latvian summer school Beverīna, a 1990 graduate of the Munster Latvian Gymnasium. She earned a B.A. in History from Yale University, a M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University) and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She has lived in Riga since 2005 with her husband and four children. She is a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and the Foreign Investor Council in Latvia.
