Jānis Kreilis

Born and raised in Riga, Janis moved to Philadelphia to get his bachelor’s in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, he spent three years doing business development and research for The Oil & Gas Year, an industry publication, in West Africa, the Middle East, and other locations. During 2014-2016, Janis received a Baltic American Freedom Foundation scholarship for his master’s degree in energy management and policy from Columbia University in New York. Currently, Janis is the co-founder and manager of Your Move, a job platform connecting global professionals to jobs in Latvia. He is also on the board of Ar pasaules pieredzi Latvijā, the only remigrant association in Latvia, and works as a graphic designer and energy analyst for EnerKnol, a startup based in New York.
