Mārtiņš is an Owner and Director of Prinzip Design Pty Ltd., Architectural Firm and Construct Haus Pty Ltd. Construction Company.
Mārtiņš is also Latvian Honorary Consul in Sydney and Board member of the Sydney Latvian Society.
Mārtiņš was born in Sydney, Australia. He successfully completed the Sydney Latvian Society’s Primary and Secondary schools and Annas Ziedares Summer High School (AZVV). He graduated from the Sydney University of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch UTS). Mārtiņš has participated in a number of international tours with the well known Australian Latvian folk dancing ensemble “Saules Josta”, and the 1990 and 1993 Song and Dance Festivals in Latvia.
For many years Mārtiņš has worked with Līvas Group, a Prefabricated Housing Company in Jaunpils, Latvia by importing and constructing their homes in Australia. Mārtiņš is an active participant in the Latvian Student Fraternity, Selonija, as well as being actively involved with the Sydney Latvian Society Saturday School, which is run by his wife Daiva and where both of their daughters attend. Mārtinš is a member of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church parish in Sydney.
