Pauls Miklaševičs is Chief Asset Management Officer at BlueOrange Bank in Riga, Latvia, where he manages discretionary investment portfolios and provides strategic investment solutions for high net worth clients. Prior to moving to Latvia in 2008, Pauls spent six years as an institutional equity trader at Mavrix Fund Management in Toronto, Canada. Pauls is the author of ‘The Baltics and Beyond’ investment blog and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario).
Pauls was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where he graduated from the Toronto Latvian Association Saturday School, the Toronto Latvian High School, and the Gaŗezers Latvian Summer School (GVV) in Three Rivers, Michigan. Pauls is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvia
